Recycling Options
Your wardrobe is ever-changing.
Here are some ways to recycle used clothes...
The Salvation Army
If you have one these nearby, you should be able to make a quick drop off.
Goodwill
Similar to The Salvation Army, you should be able to make a quick drop off.
Clothing Donation Bins
These can usually be found in public parking lots, making it easy for a quick drop off without any human interaction.
H&M
If you're traveling abroad, it's not uncommon to find an H&M store in a touristy shopping center. They should have a garment collection bin in most, if not all, of their physical store locations.
Thrift Stores
Some thrift stores may purchase your clothes, while others only accept donations. Either way is a form of recycling, assuming they plan to resell your clothes. It is also good to know that it's common for thrift stores to be mom-and-pop shops, so you may also be supporting the economy at a very local level.
Plato's Closet
While Plato's Closet is known for being sort of picky with what clothing pieces they choose to purchase from people, it can still be worth your time to stop by first before heading to any place that purely only accepts donations.
Online Marketplaces
Poshmark, Depop, and eBay are online marketplaces that may be worth a try to find happy buyers for your used clothes, but it may be very time consuming.
Many, many ways to recycle used clothes.
Just gotta find what works for you and your lifestyle.
